After twenty-four years at our Benson Road location in Renton, we moved to Tukwila!
Changing it up? Something new and fresh? Working harder/smarter/better to accommodate our client’s needs? YES to all of the above!
As we examined our business model, we’ve learned that 90% of our business now happens on location at places that are special to our clients. With that said, there is still a need for a physical location and we designed our new space with all of you in mind. There is a great new reception area to hang out in, and an awesome new projection area to preview the images from your family portraits, your wedding or even your dog portraits!
So what else can you expect from the re-charged Hudson’s Portrait Design at our new location?
Digital Photo Classes! Some of you have been the first to sign up for our photo classes with Groupon, Living Social, and Amazon Local. If you missed it don’t worry, there are more classes to come! We know from experience that our clients love photography almost as much as we do! All of you love having Bruce as your personal “Lifeographer” but there is also a HUGE demand to learn from a Master Craftsman photographer. These classes so far have been sell-out successes! Leaner, Meaner, and More Efficient! With our new space we have the unique opportunity to revamp our entire studio workflow, which will help us become more efficient! Bottom-line: the customer service you expect from Hudson’s will get even better!
More Pet Friendly Accommodations! Our new line of pet photography has been gaining steam and our new space is a lot more pet friendly! There is more space for your pooch to roam and a more “clean up friendly” surface in the studio…you get the idea! Learn more about Pet Photography HERE!
More Portrait Safaris! Our popular Portrait Safaris will get more exotic and fun! We are planning Alaska Cruise trips, a Family Portrait Safari to Maui, and Portraits in the Snow at Suncadia Resort!
State of the Art Video Editing Suite! As you know…Hudson’s does video now! The past few years our commercial photography and video division has been growing like crazy! Everything from producing testimonial videos for our client’s new websites to product demos for Facebook, you’ll love the new editing suite! Sip on a glass of wine or enjoy a microbrew beer while we edit your videos in real time right in front of you!

The new-and-improved Hudson’s is located in Tukwila, only 2 minutes off of I-405, Exit 1. And it’s only minutes from both the I-5 and 167 junctions with I-405! A more convenient location no matter what direction you are coming from!
