Lake Wilderness Park is just a short 30 min. from Seattle.

It’s has always held a special place in my heart because my High School Sweetheart (Later wife, and late wife) Sue and I would spend time in the summer! We would swim across the lake to a tire swing which today still exists!

Throughout the year, Lake Wilderness undergoes natural transformations with each season, offering unique photo opportunities. From vibrant spring blooms and lush summer greenery to colorful autumn foliage and picturesque winter scenes, the location provides diversity and character to your family portraits.

The most spectacular time of year is in the Fall. We have offered a wonderful family Autum event called “Portraits in the Leaves” for the past 30+ years.

We try to provide a family experience that the kids will remember for years to come. The park has a number of covered picnic areas where we set up home base. I love to make my Award Winning (in the words of my clients) chili which is always a hit with everyone. My daughter in law bakes her amazing pumpkin spice cookies and we have cider, hot chocolate, and something to warm up mom and dad!

Portrait in the Leaves is not just a photoshoot, but a fun opportunity much like going to a pumpkin patch or finding and cutting down the perfect Christmas tree!

Why would I suggest Lake Wilderness for your next Family Portrait?
